Príncipe Real / 20 €
Swiss cheese fondue with schwarzwälder kirschwasser, apple mousse
Bank card, Cash
Suggested during the weekends
Lost in middle of the Principe Real neighborhood, this bistro recreates the ambience of the Swiss Alps (painted on the windows) in Lisbon. The atmosphere is a mix of 70s retro and a ski resort decor. The television with a crackling fireplace, the cuckoo clock and also the old rusty “Principe Real” arrow are remarkable.
The menu always includes the Swiss cheese fondue: bread or potatoes dipped in a fondue made with various Swiss cheeses and a "secret ingredient", which is a Portuguese cheese, accompanied by cherry brandy (schwarzwälder kirschwasser). There’s also other dishes for many palates from vegetarians to meat and fish lovers. You should not leave the place without trying one of the desserts - a biological apple mousse is one of them.
